This week I am still crocheting flowers daily for adding to the wreaths for the reception and have done the bow ties for the 3 little boys in the wedding party.
They look stunning next to the button hole, which I am going to fix a brooch back to so that little fingers are not scratched with flower pins.
I have been reading a selection of books this week, appropriate to whatever project I have been working on. Easy Jams, Chutneys and Preserves was a book that came free with Grow your Own magazine, a subscription gift for my husband from our daughter. The gift that keeps on giving. I had intended to make jam this week, but I have 3 naughty boys 2 of the furry kind that have eaten them all. We now intend to go strawberry picking at the weekend.
Making books and journals was a holiday thrift shop find which has been a delight and certainly given me some ideas on how to chronicle some photos differently.
Last but not least Wedding details for obvious reasons.
Once again joiningGinny over at Small Things for the yarn along. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is doing with yarn and reading.
See you soon.
Your crocheting flowers are so cute! The little pearl add a touch of "féminité"

All the very best with the wedding preparations, you're doing so well and the little bow ties are gorgeous; a refreshing change from the usual flower, and they won't droop either :) Enjoy your reading, you have an interesting variety of subjects there. xoJoy
