I have therefore used the Cath Kidston Patch book to show you diagram that she has used for stitching the patches together, hope that helps.
The winds were quite strong and cold around here yesterday leaving in its path quite a lot of destruction particularly in the North. I opted for staying in warm and comfortable in front of the stove, stitching the patches together and enjoying the colours from the vibrant fabrics. I am very happy with the way things are progressing.
Have a blessed Sunday.
See you soon.
Hello Lorraine

Yes the winds have been very strong! Stay safe indoors. It's going to be a beautiful picnic blanket. I'm making my latest quilt via the English Paper Piecing method. I might possibly start this afternoon whilst the football is on!

Your quilt is coming along beautifully. I like the cheerful colors, they remind me of springtime. Have a wonderful day, Heather
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is coming along beautifully. Do you use a phone or camera for taking pics? If a camera, then you could take close up shots using the macro mode. Usually this mode has a flower icon to it. This mode gives you clear focus while taking a close up shot. Most of the phones don't have that mode , only cameras do, as far as I know. Hope this helps! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your help, it is a camera so I will give it a go with the macro mode.
DeleteYour fabrics look gorgeous together! I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI remember paper piecing hexagons as a child. Havent done it for years but will make a quilt like it one day!
