Yarn Along

I had my Simply Crochet magazine delivered this week, a subscription gift from my daughter.  We call it the gift that keeps on giving, as you get a gift every month.  I sat down with a cup of tea and immersed myself in the beautiful images.  I fell in love the moment I saw it, the dreamy lilac baby blanket.  I didn't have the right wool so I had to improvise and adjust the pattern to meet my needs, so far so good.

A joy to hook.  What are you creating?  Once again joining the yarn along with Ginny at small things.

  1. I liked the blanket pattern too, I have a bargain lot of Sirdar Snuggly but in DK. It would make a lovely gift for someone once I find out if a friend is expecting.

  5. That blanket is really pretty! I love the pattern and the color!

I'm working on a few things....a blanket, a market bag, and some crochet trim for pillow cases. So many great projects, so little time!

  6. I so agree with your idea of the gift that keeps on giving. I no longer subscribe to crochet magazines (I have so many) but each month I get a cross-stitch and a quilting magazine and they are such a treat. Time for a cup of tea, a sweet and a good long read.

  7. I have to run quickly past the magazine section in the supermarket. It gets very expensive if I stop :) Simply crochet is always full of lovely makes. I don't blame you for sitting down with a cuppa and enjoying.

  8. Wow, you make the most beautiful things.

What am I making? Redesigning the home office. Design in my thing, not very crafty otherwise.

Do you have a special babe to whom you will give that pretty blankie?
