This week we are joining Amy over at Love Made My Home for the weekly get together and highlighting five mediums for treasuring our memories.
One
Photographs on mugs. Gifts from our Grandchildren. They are actually not used for drinking out of, I use them as storage in my craft room.
I see them everyday and everyday they made me smile.
Two
A beautiful wooden tray, filled with photographs. It was Bertie's first trip to Disneyworld, lots of wonderful memories to treasure.
It actually stands on our desk by the computer so that we see it everyday. Once again treasured memories recorded.
Three
In the same vain, coasters from the first trip to Disneyworld for Lily and Daisy.
They stand on the coffee table in the lounge in a beautiful stand. Once again a major event in our Grandchildren's lives recorded so that we can treasure the memory.
Four
Scrapbooks. A wonderful hobby and a enjoyable way to record special occasions.
Rain never stops play here, I will go into the craft room and do another page or two, it always brightens my day.
Five
Photograph albums
The ever increasing collection. This is where all the oddments go. I made a stack of albums using Harris Tweed so they do look good on shelf. They are well loved albums that the children and I love to browse when they visit. A visual reminder of events in their lives.
We have Victoria and the boys visiting this weekend, so I am off into the kitchen to get some baking done. Scones, trifle and a carrot cake are on the agenda for sweet treats. What have you got planned?
See you soon.
