Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

This post is written by Lorraine's daughter. She has asked me to wish you all a blessed New Year.

Mum has been busy crafting, starting her projects for Christmas in October and completing at least one task every day. Some examples of her projects are included below:

Mum has made some wonderful memories in the past few months, visiting the mainland for Christmas shopping and to enjoy the Christmas decorations, and has also had the opportunity to spend time with all of her family and friends. Christmas was as amazing as ever, thanks to all of her hard work and the heart that she puts into everything! She has spent the Christmas and New Year period with all of her family.

Mum is now very tired, and at the final stage of her adventure. But she has been incredibly strong, amazing everyone, and fighting every step of the way.

She wishes you all a wonderful 2023, full of joy, hope and blessings.

  28. Dearest Lorraine, I have been praying for you daily and for an update on your journey. You have been blessed my dear friend. You had Christmas with your family and made it as special as you always do. I know that you shared with me that was your hope. Another Christmas of love.
I have cherished the friendship we have forged. I'll remember your sweet hugs of greeting and farewell in London. I will still dream of the cottage next to you. (Maybe in Heaven?) Wishing you a brilliant journey and days here with your family, full of love, laughter and maybe some tears.
Much, much love to you and dear Gerard. Dennis wants me to let him know that he prays for his strength daily.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  44. Like so many other fellow bloggers have commented, I also have been checking your mum’s blog for updates. Thank you and her for all the updates and even though the prognosis is not good, reading how she spent the holidays with family and seeing all of her crafts and knowing how much love she put into them was joyful. Glad to read that family was at the heart of Christmas and memories were surely made that will last. I hope that your father is doing well during this difficult journey as well as you and all your family. My thoughts are with all of you for the New Year and it is difficult for me to add happy, so peaceful is my choice. Please say hello to your mum from me in NH.
