Decisions, decisions...what fun I have had this morning. What hat to wear for the Royal Wedding? A quiet celebration, watching the full coverage and then afternoon tea.
I think they are airing it on television here in the states but I won't be watching. We have a wedding of our own to attend here in town. There will be plenty of news coverage I might could catch later but I don't watch very much tv. Exciting day though. Enjoy! xx Beca
It began at 2:00 am here so I didn’t watch it but I WILL watch the utube coverage. I’ve watched Charles & Diana, Andrew & Sarah and William & Kate’s. I was supposed to be in London during William & Kate’s wedding while Dennis was on a business trip to S. Africa. I couldn’t find a hotel so had to stay home. Not a shocking surprise is it? I should have known better. I haven’t been to London in years and woulda like to visit again. Love your hat selections. Which did you choose? Blessings, Betsy
When Diana married my three daughters were little then and we watched her wedding all together and loved it. Did not watch the one today. Not a fan of the bride and that's really what all the draw is, right? Hope you enjoyed it.
I was up at just after 4am this morning and enjoyed the whole thing! I've been chatting with various friends and they were all up too - we all thought it was lovely. You have a fabulous collection of hats!
You've got many hats to choose from. Hope you enjoyed the wedding via tv. I'll watch it later on youtube. Need to get things done today. Happy weekend!
Oh my goodness, so many hats, you are a milliner's dream! I watched the wedding with three friends, union flags, strawberries and cream, Pimm's and our knitting. I think I'm a bit in love with Bishop Michael Curry. x
I love all of your hats! Which one did you choose to wear? I watched the wedding itself but then I had errands to run. I've been catching up online though!
Yes I did watch some of the wedding highlights on my tablet, but didn't get up early. It was fun to see all the hats (called fascinators) and more fun to see your own collection here, Lorraine.
I love the last one, the gray hat! As an American, the only hats I own are practical -- protection from the cold, the rain, or the sun. I wouldnt have been welcome at The Wedding in those, I don't think!
We were away visiting family for the weekend, so I've only caught snippets of it here and there, although have managed to see the entire ceremony, which is the important bit. What a lovely collection of hats you have - which one did you end up with?
I watched the wedding on my laptop whilst baking a cake, it was lovely and the weather was perfect. Harry looked so happy. What a lovely collection of hats, number 4 is my favourite. I love your ladybirds and your charity shop finds :-)
I love seeing all of your pretty hats! We had our daughter and son-in-law visiting so Grayden recorded it for us to watch later. I hope to see it soon. What I've seen on the news looks amazing! ♥
Beautiful hats.It would have been my aunts Wedding Anniversary too but she passed away in January.I Loved The Royal Wedding,Harry is lovely, hope it all works out for them.x

We watched the wedding, though probably not looking anywhere near as glamorous as you. What a fantastic selection of hats xx
ReplyDeleteI hope you chose the pink one, or is it peach? Sometimes the internet distorts. And will there be photos of the tea? You know I love teas.
ReplyDeleteSo happy I finally have a breather and can catch up with your lovely posts.
