A Crafty Morning

The wind is blowing a gale here today but the sun is shining and it is certainly dry.  The perfect day for drying washing, so the bedding and towels are hung out on the line.  I have had to go out and unwrap them a couple of times as they are dancing around the line, but they are not going to be there much longer it is all almost dry.  It remains to be seen if they will be ironed today, time will tell.

I have had a couple of hours in the craft room this morning sorting out Christmas essentials in preparation for card making.  I love looking at the different papers I have managed to source, playing around with them so that I can imagine what could be done.

 

The Christmas toppers have also been separated from the box and are ready to be used.

 

 

We seem to be sadly lacking in this area so I have added them to my shopping list.  I am hoping I might get lucky either in a sale or at the car boot.

 

I have also separated the Christmas stamps ready for use on several projects I have in mind.

 

 

Ok, I admit it the beautiful materials got the better of me and I did make a couple of very simple cards, just to test the quality you understand.

 

 

A fun creative few hours passed.  I really should get myself outside and fetch the washing in, but  a cup of tea would go down well first and maybe a biscuit or two.
