Blogging Routine

It has been a few weeks since my last post I have gone to the computer several times and attempted to write a post but to no avail.  For some reason I am unable to upload photos from my phone to my computer so I keep walking away.  I have decided to give in and write a post using my camera, as opposed to the camera on my phone I know what I am doing with that.

Gerard had quite the flare up of RA whilst away and it has continued since our return.  We are still waiting for a consultants appointment as he is need of a change of medication.  Waiting for appointments is the worst, patience is certainly needed.

Anyway, all is well here and we seem to be enjoying the last of the Summer as the days start to shorten and the temperature starts to drop.  We are hopeful that we will be able to get out and cut the grass one more time but time will tell.  We are still enjoying some of the harvest from the garden and the garden room but we do need to start thinking about clearing some of the beds.  We have rhubarb and several varieties of beans in the freezer in readiness for a taste of Summer in the Winter.

I was blessed last week with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from our neighbours, a thankyou for help with their and house and garden whilst they are away.  It was a wonderful surprise and one which was greatly appreciated.

I have been keeping myself busy with craft projects here and there.  I have turned an old T Shirt of Hector's into a little cushion for his bedroom he is a great fan of a pig.

Christmas projects have also been started but I will share them with you in another post.  I am ever hopeful that I will get back into some sort of routine with blogging once again but life keeps taking over.  I do thank you for your patience.

See you soon.

  2. That is a lovely bouquet of flowers from your neighbor. We're both sorry to hear about Gerard not being well again. I will pray for an appointment for him very soon.
The Oink Pig pillow is so cute! I'm sure it will be well loved.
I know what you mean about blogs. I haven't posted for over a week. Life with a new puppy and Moms 85th birthday have taken precedence and I'm exhausted.
Hugs to you both my dear friend.
    BLessings,

  3. Poor Gerard must be in terrible pain. I hope he gets an appointment soon and that his flare up settles down. Those flowers are so pretty and I bet they look stunning in your home. Clever you making the pillow. It's the right time of year for snuggling up and making things for Christmas isn't it. x

  11. Beautiful flowers. Summer is winding down way too quickly. Even though the temperature is quite high here, the breezes we are getting have a slight chill to them.

    God bless.

  18. praying for Gerard! I had a flare from the move and the new RA doc is attempting to diagnose me with Sjogren's syndrome (I am a mix of many autoimmune arthritis). I see her in January - I do like her though.

  21. I hope Gerard is feeling better. He's now on my prayer list. Lovely flowers you got from a neighbor. I need to cut back my rose bush out front. I asked Phil to save space in yard debris bin last eve. He cut back more of the abrovitea that was damaged in Feb. Take care and hope you get your posts up and running soon. I usually add photos from my phone onto my post. Then words. Hugs!

  25. Bless you both that can't be easy to handle, you must work well together. Just had a few days on Harris, due to the expected ferry changes we had to go Ullappol to Stornoway. We only went over on our bikes. Can't believe how multi cultural Stornoway is getting. Not a complaint!

Cant remember if I sent you this
