There are some quite nice shops, not least a M & S which is nice to wander as our local one has closed. I do enjoy a stroll around the gardens at the end and of course a look into the Craft Room.
There was a sale on so lots of things to browse. I am unable to share my purchases due to daughters looking at this blog for hints of gifts.
The gardens were a delight to stroll around even at this time of year, but I will let you judge.
They have made a start getting ready for the Christmas season, a little early for my taste but beautiful none the less.
All in all a good day out with wonderful company and of course CAKE... It doesn't get better than that.
Are the gardens local to you showing their Autumn glory?
See you soon.
A wonderful day spent with your mom and dad. You're very blessed.

It does indeed look like a lovely day out. What a joy to send time with your mom and dad :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the remainder of your week. Hugs!
A wonderful day spent with your mom and dad. I am sure they enjoyed it very much. Less than 3 months to Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful day out and it looks like your Mom and Dad enjoyed themselves too. I enjoyed all of your photos. We've had our first snow on the top of Mt. Spokane and it was 19F this morning when I woke up.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Looks like a wonderful day...and glad you didn't let a little rain stop you from getting out and enjoying yourselves! I am betting that those ducks REALLY liked all of that water from the waterworks! Many blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love the fountains and the gardens would be really pleasant to stroll through! I saw lots of Christmas in the shops today and thought it was too early!
ReplyDeleteAnother place I've never visited. Almost you tempt me. Almost!
ReplyDeletethose girls are always snooping no matter what the age right? you cracked me up putting it right in your post so they'd get the hint. It does seem a little early for decorations. I'd like to get through Halloween at least.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day you had. I understand about others might see what they shouldn't. I don't know about too early for Christmas personally, at least trying to make things in time but I think we ought to wait until next month at least
ReplyDeleteI did see many trees in their fall colours while on my morning walk but with heavy rain and strong winds forecast I'm afraid the leaves will all be gone. You had such a nice day and with CAKE too. What could be nicer?
ReplyDeleteAutumn has well and truly arrived here. Some trees are looking quite bare. What a lovely outing you enjoyed with your parents. I always find fountains mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for you that you had a nice day out with your mum and dad.. it looks like a nice garden! We don't have anything like that near us. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteSo nice to spend the day with Mum and Dad! Lovely to see the gardens with the ducks looking so happy. Of course you have to have cake! The best part.....xo Karen
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have a shopping centre with gardens close by to enjoy too. My parents are at the same stage, unable to get out and about very much at all these days.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely day spend with your parents !!!
ReplyDeleteIt's important to go out, see the world and appreciate what the life give to us !!!
Have a cosy day !
Anna
That looks like a lovely place to visit.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your day out.
I have left a link for you on my post today for the recipe I use for the cornbread-x-
Surely sounds and looks great♥ Happy Thursday♥
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. I agree about the Christmas decor being too early. It's the same here in the U.S. : ( How blessed you are to have both of your parents with you still. It's hard seeing them get older though, isn't it? My dad passed when he was only 59 so he'll be forever young in my mind. My mother is 70 and she's definitely slowing down due to many health issues. Have a beautiful rest of your week. xoxo

What a lovely day with your parents. The fountains and gardens look beautiful and I'm curious to know what you found in the craft shop. Secrets must be kept until Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you and your folks had a very nice day is a very lovely place! You're such a sweet daughter to get your parents out and I'm sure they so enjoyed it. Thanks so much for popping in to see me.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
The gardens around have yellow leaves and am missing the colors of my plants. I had daughter bring in items from outdoors since there's a rainstorm coming with some winds. First one of the fall. It's finally here. So glad you had a good time out with your parents and hopefully they enjoyed it as well! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteA special day getting out and about and I am sure that your parents enjoyed the excursion, too. I have not visited my garden center lately.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a wonderful day, glad you were able to spend special time with your parents.
