Weekend With Bertie

We have just had a wonderful weekend spending quality time with our Grandson Bertie.

Board games in your jammies is a must.

Baking with Granny.

Drawing his new sister and planning adventures with her.

Making puppets out of wooden spoons.

Using the sofa as a puppet theatre.

Taking a stroll through the Nature Reserve at Gibraltar Point using the binoculars to look at everything and anything, such fun.

Stamping in every puddle however small, to test out the new star war wellingtons.

Watching the windmills and trying to work out how they work...

Admiring the boats/yachts at the Yacht Club.

Finally napping with Grandad.

That was a good weekend.  What did you get up to?

See you soon.

  2. What fun. No wonder Granddad and Bertie needed a nap at the end of it all. Your grandchildren must love coming to visit you, there's always so much to do. My weekend was very quiet in comparison - knitting and embroidery - but very enjoyable all the same.

Dating should be fun but for most people, first dates make them anxious maybe because they want everything to be perfect. A terrible first date could ruin your chance of creating a wonderful relationship with your date and so you want everything to be perfect to have a great start. First dates can be stressful if you do not know what to do. The following tips can be very helpful if you want a more enjoyable first date.

  6. Such a fun weekend for you all! So glad that the wellies were tested and I certainly hope that they withstood the test. A bit of everything to keep a boy interested. The wooden spoon puppets are such a good idea for creative play.

  20. It looks like you've all had a wonderful weekend. You've brought back many happy memories of my childhood holidays in Skegness when we'd venture to Gibraltar Point. I didn't realise you lived in that part of the country.
