Wreaths are in the process of been made or adjusted. I am also in the process of making a tree topper rather than put the traditional angel on top. Time will tell if that one succeeds, the girls like things as they remember from childhood.
Come on in and take a peek, a little glimpse of the works in progress.
Table runners for Christmas dinner are in the process of being made along with mischievous little elves.
It is the most wonderful time of the year...
See you soon.
You are very creative, I am feeling in the mood for Christmas, might even wrap some pressies later.
ReplyDeleteJust reading your post has put me in the Christmas mood. You would make a good little Christmas elf yourself...it's amazing how you get things done and the pretty things you make.
ReplyDeleteThings are looking very festive in your neck of the woods. I cut down on Christmas cards a few years ago, I still send to some people but make a donation to charity in lieu of sending to others. I'm actually in the process of shortening the present list at the moment.
ReplyDeleteIt's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....
ReplyDeleteI fear I am not even close to being ready for Christmas, And I am keeping my head in the sand about the whole holiday coming so quickly.
ReplyDeleteNot really feeling it yet, though I've done most of the present shopping. Maybe I need to listen to some Christmas music, your craft room looks so lovely and festive xx
ReplyDeleteAll looking Jingel Bell lovely but I don't take my Autumn decs down until next week. I go hell for leather with everything then from December 1 but get the decs out a few days before to check lights, for breakages etc. I LOVE decorating, baking etc for Christmas but feel I can be full on from then onwards. We have most of our boys' gifts bought and I have half of my December Daily (see on You Tube) finished; hope to complete that by the end of next week.
ReplyDeleteI haven't started the music yet, but I have been creating for Christmas for a few weeks and still have lots to knit!! Love your Christmas themed post :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner! My oh my, how the time flies. But don't yo just love this time of year...oh, what an enchanting time :)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
You are already in Christmas mood ?? Me not at all ! I wait for Egypt, last year we were there in December and in the hotel they had put up an enormous Christmas tree, they were so funny the Egyptians and they did a great decoration ! There I really got my Christmas mood. Hope it will be like that this year too !
ReplyDeleteYou're way ahead of me, though I have a bit of my wrapping done.
ReplyDeleteI've been doing some smaller (papery) things. I doubt if I'll get round to making a table runner!
ReplyDeleteI kicked off with sewing projects today and finished two presents before school run along wit my normal chores and a haircut so I am mightily impressed. Jo x
ReplyDeleteHow exciting & Christmassy! Loving those touches you've already made & the wee elf is too cute!
ReplyDeleteThe little elves have been busy in your craft room, love all your festive makes, and you've reminded me I need to make a couple of table runners this year too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Christmas crafting.
I think it's great how you get a head start on xmas! Me, I'm working on getting ready for Thanksgiving.. but the day after, all bets are off and the tree goes up. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteIt will be full on Christmas here this weekend with Ruby and DD decorating the tree while I provide hot chocolate with marshmallows followed by a snuggly night in pj's watching Christmas films and eating popcorn. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI have a few more gifts bought than I did this time last week but still no Christmas sewing done this year. It may not get done at all I'm afraid.
Loving all your makes. They look so beautiful-x-
I feel like Henny Penny. Reading your posts lately has really gotten me thinking Christmas. Another week and out come the trees. I do love all the pretty things you create.
ReplyDeleteI second Granny Marigold. It's inspiring to see your creations. The white ribbon with red print has me curious for a better look.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations in your home too. It made me sad to hear a group of senior women at a study this week saying they're sending digital Christmas cards this year instead of writing them out. I tried to inspire them to keep card and letter writing alive to no avail.
ReplyDeleteI've been making lists and beginning a few projects. Your creations are always wonderful - and I think that it's about time to bring out the Christmas music here, too.
ReplyDeleteI did a bit more Christmas shopping this week and it's getting closer to the finish line. I ordered my photo greeting cards online Sunday and they are headed my way soon! Free address labels as well! Sweet! Still thinking of prep for thanksgiving and then decorating the house...mostly the tree. Nativity has been out since last year. One of these years I'll get it into the glass case during the year. It's such a task though and may find somewhere different to store it through the year. Our weather has cooled quite a bit since yesterday. Snow in the lower mtns has made it that way which is good! Have fun creating...your projects are so coo! "-}
ReplyDeleteHow lovely, crafting to Christmas music. I finally sat down yesterday and started making plans and lots of lists.
ReplyDeleteWe in the US have Thanksgiving yet to enjoy and I do love it. In fact, it is my favorite holiday; however, I see no reason why I should not succumb to Christmas music, too. Thanks for the permission!
ReplyDeleteYou really are on a roll! Impressive.
I think we will all follow as the time is approaching fast. It's good that you are getting a head start. I think Christmas music always puts anyone in the mood. It's just jolly.

I'm in process of of cleaning the living room to ready for christmas decor.. I'm looking forward to it.. I so wish I had a sewing room.. I need a Christmas wreath for my door.. I have been thinking the last few days about it.. Have a wonderful day my dear... With love Janice
ReplyDeleteYour craft room sounds like a magical place! Lots of happy doings there. You sound like you're very much on top of things. Enjoy! xo Deborah
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post. Christmas is my favourite time of year. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore Christmas and this post is such fun. I've just started to watch my collection of Christmas films starting with Christmas with the Kranks which has taken over from Christmas Vacation as my fave Christmas film. It makes me laugh so much. Tonight's film is mixed nuts you either love it or hate it l I love it lol.
ReplyDeleteMamascraft should be your name today, all those lovely things for Christmas, makes my meagre efforts look a bit sad. Anyway, like you I have succumbed to the Christmas Music, all sorts. Have a Blessed weekend. Woo xx
