The squares have been transformed into a cushion cover...
...and four coasters and a hot pad.
I have also completed a simple zigzag blanket to complete the set.
A wonderful combination of colour and style that is now all ready to be gifted.
It may have took awhile, been abandoned and reassigned but it all came good in the end. I am linking up with Jennifer over at Thistlebear for the Winter Project Link Party why not pop over and see what everyone else has accomplished.
See you soon.
That's a really lovely set! I like the variety of patterns using the same colours. Is that a published pattern for the blanket?
ReplyDeleteLove the green x
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty. How do you part with all the lovely things you make.
ReplyDeleteI love them. I am hoping to crochet a cushion cover myself next. I may attempt the V stitch. I"ve not done zigzags yet as I'm pretty new to crochet. X
ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't sew, knit, or crochet, I enjoy seeing what others make.
ReplyDeleteWhoever receives that gift will surely treasure it. Love the colours. It always feels good to finish things up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great finish! I love the projects and the combinations of colors work so well together.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
Well done and I really like the green and grey together.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a lovely set. The colors are wonderful, too. Your recipient will love it. Anyone who returns to a project that has languished is to be commended. I have a basket full of them...
ReplyDeleteI do love those colours together.

Love this!!! All the items look wonderful with your crocheted granny squares. Great winter project!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I like how you made completely different items that match very well and will be useful to someone too. Great winter link!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
They all look fabulous. Better that you make some useful items than continue with a blanket which night not have been used given the new colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind thoughts and message on my blog. Lovely crocheting.
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful! The zigzag blanket seems difficult to do.
