There were lots of tender moments, my mum and I have had hours of fun perusing some of my vintage patterns and reminiscing about some of the knits when I was born so it was lovely to see how excited Amie was about the knitting her Nanny had done for her.
Bertie has a new hero that he has discovered off the TV, Fireman Sam...you just know what I am going to say. Everything has become a fireman's pole. Come on Granny, help me up Granny as he clambers up the washing pole and glides down with ceremony. To be three again...
The rocking horse became the fire engine...
...and the dog needed to be trained to become a crew member, good luck with that!
...but still not to big to sit on Granny's knee and watch some TV!
The house looks as if a tornado has hit the state it is in. Today is cleaning up the debris of visitors and then getting my breath back from a whirlwind of never ending activities over the weekend. Hope your weekend was as good as mine.
See you soon.
That looks fun - for Bertie AND Granny!
