Yarn Along

I have finished the poncho started last week and another one so both girls are ready to travel.  The ponchos were crocheted to keep my granddaughters warm and comfortable for the long flight to Florida in the Autumn, exciting times.

Not a lot of reading been done at the moment, I have been trying to catch up with the garden and hoping to get some of the preserves done ready for the winter months.

I am once again joining Ginny over at Small Things for the weekly yarn along.

See you soon.

  9. Your ponchos and headbands turned out great. Sounds like a fun trip planned for this fall. My garden didn't do to well this year; except for the cucumbers, we had plenty (and still do) of those. :-)

  15. Ponchos are a great idea and I'm sure the granddaughters will stay warm wearing them and the matching headbands. Airplane travel can be chilly. I wore a light sweater when I flew to Nicaragua a few years ago. Packed it away in my luggage since I didn't need it on land. Never know what kind of weather you will come up against. Bountiful summer is a great time. I'm behind. Have a blessed day!
