Wild About Ness

Yesterday was much warmer despite the occasional shower, so a friend and I went earlier to our aerobics class so that we could enjoy a stroll together.  We decided to go and have a stroll around a display at Sport Ness.  Wild About Ness.

As you go up the stairs there were outline silhouettes of birds that can be seen in the area.

These are just a few that are on display.  The landing then leads onto a Children's area, where local children have crafted local wildlife.  There is also several child friendly displays.

Along the corridor were a wonderful array of photographs each group sponsored by local firms/groups and taken by local photographers.

Just a sample of some of the displays and well worth a visit should you be in the area.  Entrance is free but there is a box for donations if you wish.

I have been struggling with how to reply to comments/questions for sometime and have tried different ways.  From this I have decided that I will reply on my next post for a while and see if this works.  To this end here are replies from my previous post:

I used to do craft fairs but since moving here to the Isle of Lewis I no longer sell my craftwork.  We have been too busy with our cottage and other projects so I craft for family and friends now.

I don't mind anyone using my patterns or copying something that I do, I am honoured that you take inspiration from my work.

I think the lace/buttons would make amazing napkin rings, simply glue them to either plastic or wooden rings.

We do have the same saying Red skies at night...but I would say Shepherds delight rather than Sailor.

As always I do thank you for your visit here and your continued interest and comments.

See you soon.
