It is with a heavy heart that we share that Lorraine lost her battle with cancer this week. She was brave and strong to the very end, and is now safe in the arms and comfort of the Lord.
Beloved wife to Ged.
Beloved mum to Victoria, Amie, and Lucy.
Beloved granny to Lily, Bertie, Wilbur, Daisy, Hector, and Honey.
Her loss is felt deeply but she will always be loved.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read this sad news about Lorraine. I have read this blog from the beginning and have admired her for her faith and inumerable strengths. She was so happy that they were able to make the move to the Isle of Lewis and seemed to be truly happy and at peace there. My deepest sympathy to all her beloved family and friends.
Heaven has a new Angel who will be looking down and watching over her family. May God give Lorraine's beloved family peace and comfort in the days ahead. She will be missed by so many.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to see this today. Even though I knew one day it would be here, I am still so very sad to know she is gone. I never met Lorraine in person, rather, I knew her as a faraway friend who I visit virtually anytime. She was an anchor here in this blogworld, welcoming me when I was just beginning. I will pray for her, but also for the beloved family she left behind when she gathered her wings and her heavenly reward. Thank you so much for allowing us to share in her life and in her death, as well as in your grief. I will come back here and visit often, for I know Lorraine has still so much to teach.
