There is a slight reflection but you can see the colour, it is called platinum and reminds me of a blue rinse ladies of a certain age had years ago. It will probably need a couple of coats. We are now looking at the options for the floor but this won't be done until we complete the utility so that the two rooms can be done together.
I am almost out of blank cards/notelets so I sat yesterday and made a few. I do need to put some time aside and restock the card drawer, there are a lot of Birthdays coming up.
Simple but effective, perfect for those I thought of you moments. Definitely simple but still filled with love.
Finally a start had been made on Hectors quilt, progress is slow but at least progress is been made.
Another project filled with love. What are you working on?
I have so many starts at the moment but not a lot of finish's. As always thank you for your support and lovely comments they are always appreciated.
See you soon.
I love those blank cards and notelets. So pretty! Your patchwork designs are so pretty too!

Isn't it amazing what a coat of new paint can do. You are such a talented card maker, much prettier than what you see in the stores.
ReplyDeleteSome little boy is going to getting wonderful quilt.
Its nice to start decorating isn't it, stamping your mark on the place.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards and patchwork too. Like the colour you have chosen for your kitchen:)
ReplyDeleteLove the grey. Much to my surprise I am very much into greys and beiges for home decor at the moment.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and Hector's quilt looks like it is going to be stunning.

Your cards are lovely. You have so much energy. Is it the sea air or just your natural temperament?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finished room.
That color looks very nice and fresh. Your card-making is lovely. Stamping the fabric for the quilt is a lovely idea.
ReplyDeleteI really like that color. It's similar to the color Mandy and Brad painted their new house. It's so clean and warm looking.
ReplyDeleteThe cards certainly don't look simple to me. Such a lot of love and talent put into each of them. My goodness! You even have a stamp for your name on the back! I love it.
And the quilt is looking wonderful. I remember when our grandson Caleb was so into "Cars". Actually, he still likes the movies.
Have a lovely day my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy
So impressive that you make your own beautiful cards! They really turned out lovely. Like you I have many starts and little finishes.
ReplyDeleteGosh you are doing well! Some lovely projects underway and beautiful cards. It will be lovely to get your kitchen painted, the colour looks interesting, I look forward to seeing it completed.
ReplyDeletemy, you certainly have been busy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a busy bee you are! Your quilt is going to be wonderful. My kitchen is a silvery grey but in some lights it looks like your paint, you'll be pleased when it's done no doubt.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to make a quilt is start one I say. Well done you. You can always add a bit here and there. We have been doing a bit of kitchen work too. It felt like January was a good time for it when we can't get out to do garden jobs. Great minds think alike. Jo xxx
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lot of things in process at once! It makes me crazy to have too many projects going at once but I think it's typical of creative people. One by one, they will get done! Don't fret.
ReplyDeleteFresh paint makes such a difference. I like your color, but had to laugh when you mentioned the blue rinse color. My Nanny used that and I always thought it strange. I hope you share your finished quilt. Someones going to be happy with it! ♥
ReplyDeletePainting is such an efficient way to make a difference in a room.
ReplyDeleteYour newly made cards are so cute. I love the flowers.
Lots of creativity going on there - love the new paint color. Gray is so popular right now - both my daughter and my son have painted all their walls gray with white trim and it really does look nice. It goes with everything. Your cards are very sweet and the little quilt is wonderful. Being stuck inside in winter does bring out the creative spirit sometimes! Looking forward to seeing the results. xx Karen
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful! I love all your fabrics. They are really bright and cheery.
ReplyDeleteNice color on your walls. I should do more of my photography cards this year. I usually wait til I almost need one when I make it. Sigh! thanks for the inspiration. I need to start on my oldest granddaughter's quilt. I've not got anything cut out yet. Do you want to come help? :-} Take care my friend across the miles!
ReplyDeleteThat cards are really super cool. love it.

You'll be busy with all your new starts but it's good to have plenty of things on the go, it's nice to be busy. I love the colour you've chosen for your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteWhen I start to paint the kitchen that’s exactly what I do - start. Then I leave it for a few days, do a little more, leave it again - and so on. Drives my wife crazy!
ReplyDeleteall the way over here that looks purply to me...that is the color of our bathrooms. Any new paint is a fun good thing because you're looking at something different!! love seeing your new crafts.
ReplyDeleteYou reminded me I have doors to paint, and it's too cold here yet to do that. In the meantime I have lots to create. I'll have a post up soon I hope.
ReplyDeleteLots of great things happening for you! I saw your comment about the ferries, I hope that all will be OK for you and that you can get off the island again soon if you need to.
ReplyDeleteInteressantes trabalhos e muito coloridos. Feliz fim de semana.
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful starts. Your kitchen is going to be lovely with that color.

I think grey walls look so pretty in northern light. Hector's quilt is going to be so cute. I have so many unfinished projects. My unvoiced resolution this year is FINISH STUFF.
