Sewing Box and Space

Teresa at teresakasner.blogspot.co.uk/ asked about our sewing boxes on her post today.  I have a beautiful Cath Kidston sewing box which my daughter bought for me one Christmas which I love.  Many things have been added over the years needle case, button tins, threads, pin cushion the list is endless.  But in the spirit of the challenge here it is.

It lives on the landing of our little cottage along with some of my craft equipment and collections.  All ready to be transferred to the outbuilding once it has been renovated and made into my dream craft space.

I have to admit to it been a little cluttered but it will all be worth it in the end.  We are waiting for our builder as I type this, he has priced everything that we need for what we will call The Bothy.  Our plan is to split the building, a workshop for Gerard and a craft room for me.

Why not pop over to teresakasner.blogspot.co.uk/ and join in the fun.

Mickey has to put his head around the door to say hello.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

See you soon.

  3. Oh, how I loved the peek into your crafty area. We are all the same at heart! We love our little bits and pieces and I’m so looking forward to seeing yours in their new home in “The Bothy.” I spy a spinning wheel! I miss my wheel but I know I could never sit at it for any length of time any longer. Oh I can’t wait to see your craft space completed. Blessings, Betsy

  5. Your craft storage area looks like my craft room, almost, actually I think mine is a lot messier. That will be my summer project, to create some kind of order in there. Looking forward to seeing your bothy, I'm sure you'll love it.

  8. I thoroughly enjoyed peeking at all your sewing and crafting supplies! I'm so excited to watch as you transform that fabulous stone building into work places for both Gerald and yourself. I can just envision artistic displays of the baskets, the spinning wheel and all in your studio. I can see vases of flowers, too. Thanks for playing along on my sewing box challenge!! I got some new visitors coming from your blog post and have made new friends. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  9. Arh Mickey, he's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your photos, it's always lovely to see how people store their craft things. Your sewing box looks lovely, beautiful flowers. I did pop to Teresa's blog too. I did a blog post last year with 'wooden things' for sewing and knitting. Cathy x
