Christmas Card Swap

I once again joined in the fun and took part in the Christmas card swap organized by Amy over at Love Made My Home.  I was lucky enough to get partnered with Sharon from mynewuneventfullife.blogspot.com.  Sharon is originally from Ipswich in the UK and is now living in Michigan USA, we met through the link up of Five on Friday and have followed each other for awhile.

I was blessed to receive my card on Saturday, it certainly was a joy to behold, a truly beautiful card that was handmade and Sharon has the most beautiful handwriting adding to the delight.

I love that in the window there are tiny snowflakes that if shaken, fall.  A wonderful card.

I have had some lovely cards this year and as yet have not displayed them, I really must get organised a little better with that.  Although I do like to have them in a pile on the coffee table and so when I sit down I browse through them again.  I would love to hear how you display your cards, I could do with a little inspiration.

See you soon.

  1. What a beautiful card, some people are so talented, aren't they? I stick my cards to the glass in the internal doors and display them there.

  2. That is a beautiful card. I do love cards that have snowy scenes on them.
I used to attach strings to one of the internal doors to hang cards on but now they just stand on the shelves where we have the dvd's-x-

  5. I used to hang them on strings on the wall or hang them on the Christmas tree. Now I usually receive e-greeting cards through emails or smartphone.

  7. I don't send Christmas cards anymore only per email ! Most of my friends do, or we take the opportunity and call each other !

  8. Lovey card! We display them on our old piano that sits by the tree and the fireplace. They line up well where the sheet music should be. Have a merry Christmas and wonderful New Year!

  9. That is truly a beautiful card made with love. How neat that the snowflakes fall in the window. We have always displayed cards in various ways. This year I have a piece of twine strung across the Patton door and the cards are held on with mini clothespins. I love looking at them.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  10. What a pretty card. It's one to pull out year after year. I have mine displayed on the hall table, but if more arrive I'll be looking for other places to display them.

  12. That card is so pretty. The way I have dislpayed mine is just hung over a string that is strung across the large opening between my dining room and sunroom. It's funny to see my 6' sons do this little dip as they pass under it.

  15. What a beautiful card. So creative. I use FunTak on the moldings around my interior doorways to hang my favorite Christmas cards. Just a little on the back on opposite corners and people can see the pretty cards and open them to read the insides.

  21. That is a beautiful card. I have always hung mine over and down the woodwork around the archway into the living room from the dining room. You see it right as you walk into the back door. I'll try to take a snapshot of it. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
